The Charters Pole - film from 20 feet above the ground without a drone
Designed by cinematographer Rodney Charters, the Charters Pole is a multi-purpose pole for lightweight camera systems and other accessories such as lightweight lighting fixtures or boom microphones. The system allows the operator to get very close to the subject, which assists with even greater control.

Sachtler Expands Ace Product Line with Ace L
Sachtler has expanded the Ace product line with the new 75mm Ace L fluid head. The new fluid head will be available with a choice of two different carbon-fiber tripods. In comparison to the popular Ace M, Ace L has an extended payload range of 0 to 13 pounds (0 to 6 kilograms). This makes the new fluid head extremely versatile: whether filming with a lightweight video-enabled DSLR camera, a heavier rig with camera accessories or an HDV camcorder. Seven steps make counterbalancing comfortable and quick.
