WHO:

Editor Ryan Case is currently on her fourth season with the hit ABC comedy Modern Family, which earned her an Emmy for the pilot episode. She has also worked on ABC’s Don’t Trust the B—— in Apartment 23, NBC’s 1600 Penn, and the Judd Apatow-produced web series Acting with James Franco. Assistant Editor Shaheed Qaasim is on his third season of the Emmy-winning ABC comedy Modern Family. He’s also worked on a variety of other shows, including Deadwood, Battlestar Galactica, HUNG, and Barbershop (the TV series).

WHAT:

The hour-long webinar, “Cutting Laughs with Modern Family,” will provide viewers with key insights from Ryan and Shaheed on using Media Composer and ScriptSync to find the best performances from this star-studded cast and how trimming an edit can make something funny (or not). Ryan and Shaheed will also be answering audience questions immediately following the presentation.
