BLACKMAGIC DESIGN: URSA IN THE HANDS

Until you have a camera in the hands it is almost impossible to get an impression of what the camera is really like. You can read the specs. and check out the images online, you can read the marketing from the manufacturer – however, until you hold the camera and get to know it, everything is academic.

In the this video, Rick Young provides an overview of Ursa, in terms of the layout of the controls, the build of the camera, and how the camera handles.

Ursa is a full-blown production camera which is designed to work with crews or the single operator. This extends the range of cameras from Blackmagic Design who provide everything from the Pocket Cinema Camerra, to their Studio Cameras, the original Cinema Camera 2.5K and the handheld Production Camera 4K. Ursa represents the most complete and capable camera which Blackmagic have released so far.
