The Creative Pro User Group (CPUG) Network have announced that the Sixteenth Annual Las Vegas SuperMeet will take place on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 in the Pavilion Ballroom at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Doors open at 4:30PM with the SuperMeet Digital Showcase, featuring over 25 software and hardware developers. Presentations will begin at 7:00PM and continue until 10:00PM.

This public beta lets customers install and test Blackmagics major new camera operating system and user interface for URSA Mini. The CPUG Network have announced the Ninth Annual Amsterdam SuperMeet, to take place Sunday, September 11, 2016 once again at the Hotel Krasnapolsky in the heart of Amsterdam, NL. The Amsterdam SuperMeet promises to be the single largest gathering of Final Cut Pro, Adobe, Avid and Resolve editors, gurus and digital filmmakers during the IBC 2016 Show. Blackmagic Design has announced that Blackmagic URSA Mini 4.6K and the Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera have commenced shipping and that the specifications of the two cameras have been changed. Blackmagic Design have decided to ship both of the cameras without the global shutter feature.

At IBC 2015 Blackmagic Design introduced the Blackmagic URSA Mini B4 Mount which is a B4 lens mount modification for its new Blackmagic URSA Mini PL camera that lets it use broadcast HD lenses. Since URSA Minis launch at NAB, feedback from broadcasters has been overwhelmingly positive, and now they will also be able to use their existing high definition B4 broadcast lenses with Blackmagic URSA Mini.
