Fujifilm to stop making motion picture film
>> It has reported that Japan's Fujifilm Holdings Corp will stop making film used to shoot motion pictures around next spring due to a fall in demand, Kyodo news agency said.

The film and camera maker has seen faltering demand for motion picture film due to the increased use of digital cinema cameras in the movie industry, Kyodo news agency reported.

Fujifilm will continue making special film, said to have a life of 500 years, designed to preserve motion pictures for archival purposes.
