Convergent Design Gemini to offer 4K Raw for Canon C500

This version provides Canon 4K Cinema Raw Option (4K, Half Raw and Quad HD. This is claimed to be the lowest cost option for True Cinema Raw (.rmf) recording!

To kick off the release of the Canon C500 with firmware support for the Gemini 4:4:4 recorder, Convergent Design are offering a deal: Get TWO 512GB SSD’s FREE with the purchase of a Gemini 4:4:4 plus Canon Raw or ARRIRAW Option.

Amber Cowles, Marketing & Communications Director says, “Convergent Design is excited to be able to offer this promotion in concert with the shipping release of the C500. While an onboard recorder is mandatory, we feel Gemini 4:4:4 is the best option for Cinema Raw capture at the lowest cost, and has the best features, including our 5” LCD monitor with debayered preview and playback, free transfer station, and a very compact size. With our current promotion, entry is so affordable around $8500 (US); one-third the cost of competing RAW recorders!”

  • Canon 4K Cinema Raw support is an extra cost option, $2495 (US).
