Hello and welcome,

The cameras manufacturers have cast the die, there a fantastic range of 4K cameras and beyond from Sony, Canon, JVC, Panasonic, Arri, Red and Blackmagic Design.

The unknown at this stage is Blackmagic's URSA Mini with the 4.6K sensor. This is due to market anytime soon - test footage online is looking spectacular. Check out this footage from URSA Mini with the 4.6K sensor:

https://vimeo.com/148429958

This is a big deal as URSA Mini shoots either ProRes or RAW internal. Most cameras that offer RAW do this to an external recorder which is never as convenient. Add to this the size, shape, form, weight, capability, lens options, the entire package of URSA Mini is very appealing!

Which leads onto the first movie running in 2016 on Movie Machine - the Amazing filmmaking of Nguyen-Anh Nguyen. Working with Blackmagic URSA 4K and the Blackmagic Production Camera 4K, the results look like something straight out of Hollywood:
