Walter Murch to headline at the IBC SuperMeet, Sept. 13, 2015

Feature film editor Walter Murch will be speaking at the Amsterdam SuperMeet. This is a big deal!

Walter has won three Academy Awards: best sound for Apocalypse Now (1979) and a double Oscar, best sound and best picture editing, for the English Patient (1996). He has been nominated for Academy Awards on six other occasions.

Murch has earned a reputation as being innovative and daring with his approach to technology. He used Final Cut Pro (the original version of the software) to edit Cold Mountain in 2003, at a time when Final Cut Pro still had to prove itself suitable for feature film production.
