PANASONIC TO DEBUT FIRST AVC-ULTRA CAMCORDERS AT BVE 2014

Demonstrated by European distributor Holdan, the AJ-PX270 and AJ-PX5000 bring together all the leading strands in television technology including proxy recording, wireless production, cloud integration, availability for studio or field use and adoption of new low-cost yet robust recording cards.

Because of the introduction of this new codec family, broadcast camcorders will enjoy a new level of versatility, being ready for extended-assignment news work at the same time as being able to operate in genres where picture quality is of paramount importance. The ability of the cameras to integrate with cellular, LAN and Wi-Fi networks gives broadcasters the freedom to share data and control systems remotely, whether in the field or in the studio.
